I was staring out the window hoping to see something interesting. I realized that Death Valley is just rocks. Finally we were let out of the car at the Golden Canyon because my aunt and uncle were lost. I got to venture into the canyon and see the beauty of this canyon from another perspective. It was amazing to know that water formed the areas that I was walking in. Everything was so smooth and flat. The colors blended together into a mesmerizing gold. The Gold Canyon was in Badwater Basin the lowest place in the United States. Me and my brother both climbed the steep side of the Golden Canyon till the top without a path. It was still tilted slightly letting us not use a rope but still enough for you to get hurt really bad when you slip. Later, we went on Artist's Drive, a windy drive through the rock formation.
